About HoustonPilots.net
HoustonPilots.net was a vision of Max Tribolet in the summer of 2008. He recognized the need for an online social network in which Houston Pilots could connect.
By August of 2009, the website was officially launched with the help of Blair McFarlain (webmaster of HoustonSpotters.net). Both Blair and Max maintain and monitor the website on a daily basis and pay for the operating expenses out of pocket.
Both Max & Blair are pilots in the Houston area, and are volunteers at the 1940 Air Terminal Museum. Blair has been flying since 2004, and Max has been flying since 2007.
Whether you are a weekend flyer, visiting the area, a professional pilot, or just starting your private training, feel free to browse the forums, post in the gallery, or just take a look around the site!
